Good web design starts with the moment somebody needs you. A guy is standing in his driveway looking at water coming out from under the garage door. He's on his phone.
He's giving your site about eight seconds.
He needs to see that you do this, that you do it where he lives, and how to call you. Everything past those three things is a bonus. A good-looking site that buries the phone number loses to a plain one that doesn't.

WEBSITE CARE
About the monthly fee.
I'd rather be responsible for the thing I built.
Why is there a monthly fee at all?
Because a website nobody's watching breaks. Hosting lapses. Software goes stale. A contact form quietly stops sending and you find out three weeks later when somebody mentions they tried to reach you.
Website Care covers hosting, security, backups, and two small changes a month.
Website Care is $200 a month and comes with every site I build. A site I built is a site I maintain. If you'd rather host it elsewhere, cancel and I hand it over.
If you cancel Website Care, I stop hosting and maintaining the site. Once the site is paid in full, I transfer it to an account you control, or give you a complete export of its files, at no charge. Send me a written request within 30 days of your last paid month, an email is fine, and I'll finish the handoff within 14 calendar days. Your site stays online until the handoff is finished, or 45 days after your last paid month, whichever comes first. Help beyond that handoff, like setting up new hosting, is quoted.
What counts as a content update
A content update is replacing something that already exists, or adding something to a list that already exists. Same structure, new content.
That means: swapping a photo, updating hours or a phone number, adding project images to a gallery, changing a service description, putting up a seasonal promo, swapping a testimonial, adding a town to your service area.
That doesn't mean: a new page, a new section, moving where things sit, or a new feature. Anything that opens up the layout rather than the content is new work, and I'll quote it before doing anything.
Two content updates a month are included. Unused ones don't roll over.
Blog posts, as an add-on
Blog posts aren't included in Website Care. If you want them:
- $75 per post if you provide the images
- $100 per post if I source them
I write it, you fact-check it before it goes live.
AFTER LAUNCH
After launch: $750 a month
A great site brings people in. What keeps them coming is the work that happens every month after launch: Getting Found and steady Review Management that wins the next customer. That's Monthly Marketing, and most people add it once the site is live.

GOOD TO KNOW
On photos
If you don't have good photos of your work, I'll tell you. I can design around it, I can give you a short list of shots to take on a phone, or you can bring in a photographer. What I won't do is put AI-generated pictures of jobs you didn't do on your website. A homeowner choosing you because of a roof that doesn't exist isn't a customer you want, and it isn't a business I want to build. I do use AI for the parts where it earns its place: backgrounds, textures, and design work built around your brand. That's part of why this costs $2,500 and takes weeks instead of $6,000 and three months.
Comparing a $99 a month plan?
Ask who owns the site if you stop paying. With mine, you own the website I build for you once it's paid in full, and if you cancel Website Care I transfer it or give you a complete export, at no charge.
Why two rounds and not unlimited
Some shops advertise unlimited revisions. Unlimited revisions means the project never ends, and a site that never launches has never earned anybody a dollar. Two rounds, clearly defined, and it goes live.
A website is the front door, not the whole house
A good site makes it easy to call you. It doesn't make anybody find you in the first place, and it doesn't ask your customers for reviews after the job.
That's the work that comes next: getting your Google profile showing up across your service area, review requests going out automatically, and campaigns to the customers you already have. Most people start with the website and add that once it's live.
